Please familiarize yourself with the drop-off/pick-up guidelines! Be sure to share this information with anyone who may be helping you out (grandparents, sitters, other caregivers). During arrival, the gates close 10 minutes before school starts for the safety of the students and parents walking to school. In the parking lot facing 8 Mile Road, cars should not be waiting in line to exit off of Center Street. This is not safe for students walking from the parking lot and blocks parking spots from other Amerman families. You may remain parked in your parking spot or exit off of 8 Mile Road turning right only. Kids are also being dropped off in the front of the school where the buses drop off - this is extremely unsafe and is not allowed. Please park or pull into the parking lot if you are dropping off your child. During dismissal, the gates close when the bell rings and remain closed for 5-8 minutes after the bell depending on the walking traffic. Student safety is our number one priority - please abide by the guidelines for the north parking lot and the drop-off/pick-up loop.

Have you registered on MemberHub yet? You can use it to make payments, access the student directory, and more. As of this time last year your Amerman PTA had raised $13,300 for Invest in Your Child. Unfortunately, we have raised only $9,000 so far for this school year. The good news is it is not too late to invest in Your Child! The PTA has a lot of great plans for how we can use those monies to impact our Amerman students now.  Please help us do so by investing today. Thank you in advance and to those who have already participated!

The Amerman PTA is on Facebook - request to join the group here. This is a private group just for current Amerman families, so all requests to join will be reviewed by the PTA President.

The PTA is signed up for a number of fundraising programs which offer significant earning potential for our school. Please check the Fundraisers-at-a-Glance list to be sure that you’re signed up for as many of these fundraising opportunities as possible.  These are a wonderful and essentially effortless source of income for the PTA, and allow us to do great things for the students, teachers and school. Be sure to encourage your family and friends to sign up as well!

Your PTA membership comes with special benefits! Find out more on the National PTA website.
